Can Someone Make me a Design Using Photoshop?

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Im working on a community service project. I need someone to create a design for a shirt promoting breast cancer awareness using the slogan " I'm Going Pink !" and the pink ribbon symbol. the fabric will be light pink and i was hoping i could the letters to be white, and bold with a dark pink border around the font, however if you freestyle something better that would be great, the cloth will still remain light pink though. i"m willing to pay for the design. I want something really creative and not something that looks generic or anything like that. Can anyone help me please, its for a great cause.

I'd take the project, but I have lots on my hands right now and it wouldn't be fair to you. But you can go to www.guru.com or www,craiglist.com You can post the project and include how much you are willing to pay for it, this way, you'll get professionals bidding on your project. Good luck!

what would you do if you find out your mother has stage four breast cancer?

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

CT scan result says cancer affects the lungs. the worst is we dint have the money to pay for some more test.

You do not have to have the money for more tests. The Universal Health Care Law of 1988 requires, (REQUIRES) that hospitals and health care centers are required to provide free or low cost health care to under insured or uninsured persons regardless of their citizenship or immigrant status. Get your Mom to a hospital. Look this law up, print out a copy and take it with you to the hospital if you have to.

Biopsy tomorrow, already a stage 4 cancer survivor…?

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

My mom gets a biopsy on her left breast tomorrow after a mamogram and spot compression found some calcified spots last month. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999, metastatic breast cancer in her lungs in 2005 and found it spread to her hip just last year. She had her lympnodes in her right breast removed back in 1999 along with chemo and radiation, chemo in 2005 (couldn't do radiation again because it was so close to the breast) and chemo/radiation last year for her hip. She's been so lucky and stayed so strong throughout all of this, and I know it doens't look good. What are the chances this biopsy will come back that it's benign?
The cancer removed before was only in the right breast, the spots/biopsy is now in the left.

Without seeing the radiology report it is more difficult to tell, but if there is no mention of a tumor it could very well be nothing. However, if it is cancer calcifications are usually associated with DCIS, a non-invasive cancer rather than a frank carcinoma. I hope it is nothing more than a cautious doctor. Good luck.

Finding breast cancer while it’s still in the earliest stages is a proven means of saving lives.
Since we have no cure, the best start is with self breast exam.
The breast check kit is an FDA approved medical device that enhances tactile sensation and acts like a magnifying glass for your fingertips.
Check out how to get one into the hands of every woman you know.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. By improving your sensation during a self breast exam -you can catch cancer in its earliest stages and improve your rates of survival.

Your statement is true about Early detection, but what about the cancers that there are no lumps to be felt. I have breast cancer and it was underneath my arm and on my chest wall. there was never lump felt.

First Lady Laura Bush in Saudi Arabia to promote Breat Cancer Awareness?

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Breast cancer is considered a taboo subject among many in the Saudi society. Many women will not go to a male doctor to get a mammogram. Some women secretly hide the fact that they have breast cancer or will not have a lump in their breast checked out. Some women have died needlessly as a consequence.
Edit: Breast (not Breat)

i think this is noble of her

but honestly, for real change to be affected it needs to come from the Saudis themselves

i wish her and them well

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

iMy name is lynda, and have lost the true love of my life to breast cancer, the memories of her fading before my eyes will always be with me, i have also lost my brother and mum to cancer. it is such a huge killer, if only all the monies used on bomb making to kill the world were spent on cancer research then not only cancer would be cured but lots of other disease.
the world is obsessed with killing people lets just wise up and discover the beauty of life and not the horror of death and dicease , imagine how happy i would be be to have carmel beside me now alive cured, so many of us that have lost dear ones know this loss and the agony of if only, we have got to put pressure on our policitans to redirect funds away from killing to saving lives there are more ordinary people that policitions so people power would make the differance not violance but human dignity power for they will have lost dear ones also, life is beautyiful and worth the effort at lets try harder.x
regards Lynda.

I agree with you, I lost my dad to lung cancer, my husband has cancer now

18-year Old Creates Breast Cancer Support Site in Dedication to His Sick Mother

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

Janie Canei is battling Breast Cancer for the second time, this time in

her lungs, neck, and brain. She is presently considered terminally ill,

but she remains positive and focused on getting better with the support of

her son Matthew. Matthew, who is an 18-year old college student at

Savannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta, had the idea to create an

online environment that would provide motivation, inspiration, and support

for not only his mother, but for anyone in a similar predicament.

He created FacesForACure.com to be a huge online “wall” in which visitors

purchase space on this wall to place a photo of themselves or a loved one

who has ever battled cancer. Matthew’s invisions a huge digital

composition with hundreds, potentially even thousands of survivors or

cancer fighters digitally side-by-side creating a large spectacle, which

he believes will leave the viewer feeling motivated, and inspired to

continue their battle against the disease.

Matthew did not want this site to only benefit his mother, but also all of society. He vowed that no less

than 50% of all proceeds from the wall will be donated to breast cancer

research, to aid in the discovery of a cure. His site can be visited at

http://www.facesforacure.com. Matthew looks forward to your future

contributions to the wall, as he will stop at nothing to see his vision in

the flesh.
