There is a new system which I first found out about through Bravissimo. It is spreading around, to get women to come into shops and buy new, expensive bras. Plus size women are getting their bras fit very tightly up against the ribcage. The excess fat is then squeezed into a bigger cup. No matter how much weight you gain, your ribcage does not change! So you can be plus size and still wear a 28" band. Band size now is meaningless. It just indicates how tightly you are willing to squeeze!

So NOW I get why women are coming on the Internet to say they have 28H, 32I, 30J bra sizes! If they had full body photos, they would not show slim women with large breasts. They would show full-figured women with their breasts in manipulated bra sizes!

I know there is a small population of naturally slim women with large breasts. They do need to make bras and clothing up to a G cup or so. BUT most Bravissimo customers and even the models do not seem to look like lollipop or vase shapes. Clearly they have just found a new way to hide the fat!

Apparently their bottoms are more generously cut than usual! That adds to my suspicion that they are doing vanity sizing, to get plus size women to shell out the money.

Bras can give you a temporary boob job now, but will breast cancer follow in the future? Hopefully God will intervene.

According to this system, if a plus size woman has a 28" ribcage, her band size will never change but her cup will keep getting bigger. This means that all band sizes past 36" could become obsolete. I see skin indentations and fainting happening. With a 32" band my bra rides up too, but I don’t care as long as I can breathe, ya know! Thank you to the kind people who offered nice comments. I congratulate Bravissimo for offering clothing to curvy women. But their way of sizing is gimmicky and dangerous. I may not be able to stop women from lying about or distorting their sizes on the Internet. I just hope this discussion helps people. God bless you. Kittysue: I can believe you, as I’m around the same bra size with a lollipop shape body. I am referring to a Bravissimo commercial where a woman practically plus size was touting a 28H. I wonder if she faints from the bra. Also, in their fitting video the woman is fitted so tightly in the band that there is fat pushing out. They do say to fit the band as tightly as you can go.

"Save a life, grope your wife" ? Does anyone else find sexualizing CANCER as just a little inappropriate? Thoughts? Opinions?

TonyS: Um… why so angry? If you actually read my initial ‘question’, all I did was ask for thoughts and opinions. I stated that I find sexualizing cancer just a little inappropriate, but I really just wanted to hear what everyone else’s thoughts on this were. I’m curious and like hearing others’ opinions on things. "Feminist" and "poor woman victim" mindset is about the LAST thing people who know me would say about me. But thanks for your … opinion … all the same.

Funny thing, I find this no more inappropriate than any other "breast cancer awareness". What I find inappropriate is having it constantly shoved at me. I am aware that breast cancer exists, I am aware of how to have it diagnosed. My aunt had a radical double mastectomy. I don’t wear pink ribbons, have a pink bumper sticker or donate money to a "foundation" that makes sure that cents on the dollar goes to research.

GLASSES and I am wanting another horn rimmed frame set but I want them to be black and green kind of like adult film star eva angelinas but hers are black and red (I attatched a photo) If you can help it would be greatly appreciated I am wanting them in all sorts of colors so if you can find other colors as well it would be even better but GREEN is the most important i am hoping for lime green but any green will do!!
